Built to go further.
For thirty years.
Founded in 1996 and built not on advertising, but on results and the relationships that follow. Most clients still come through direct referral. That doesn’t happen by accident.

“He is a superb trial lawyer. Meticulous in his advocacy and extremely learned in appellate and trial advocacy. He manages a boutique practice and has an impeccable reputation that separates him from other attorneys in his field.”— Peer Attorney Nomination, Super Lawyers
Passionate for Justice. Proven in Court.
Built by an attorney who knew what it felt like to need one.
Matt McGahren grew up the son of an engineer who helped design the Verrazano Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in North America. His father was meticulous and principled, and he held every professional to a high standard. When the attorneys handling his own legal matter fell short of it, Matt’s father fired them and represented himself.
Matt carried that lesson into law school. He was injured in a car accident as a young man, and when the insurance company lowballed him, he understood firsthand what it felt like not to be taken seriously. He began his practice in 1996 and has spent over 30 years doing the one thing many personal injury lawyers won’t do: calling the other side’s bluff.
Insurance companies make lowball offers because they’ve learned that many attorneys will take them—but not us. When our clients are treated unfairly, we go further to make it right.
The legal system exists to deliver justice. Our mission is to live up to that ideal—every day, with every client.
A different approach to personal injury law
The legal system works best when every person has someone willing to stand up for them. Unfortunately, that’s not always what happens. Too often, injured people are treated like claim numbers instead of human beings. Their cases are rushed, important details are overlooked, and they’re pressured to settle before the full impact of their injuries is understood.
That’s not how we practice law.
We believe every client deserves honest answers, personal attention, and an attorney who is willing to put in the work. That’s why we intentionally limit the number of cases we accept. It allows us to be accessible when our clients need us and give every case the time and attention it deserves.
We also believe that insurance companies pay attention to who’s sitting across the table from them. They know which attorneys are willing to take a case all the way to trial and which ones are not.
That’s why we approach every case as though it may ultimately need to be decided by a jury. That level of preparation can make a difference long before a case ever reaches a courtroom.
Today, McGahren Law represents clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, including car accidents, truck accidents, catastrophic injuries, premises liability claims, nursing home neglect, wrongful death cases, and other serious injury claims.
From our home in Peachtree Corners, we serve clients throughout Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Arizona, and the Southeast while remaining committed to the same principles that have guided our firm since the beginning.
Our multilingual team proudly serves clients in English, Spanish, and Korean because we believe everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with respect.
We go further for you
than anyone else will.
Preparation
Every case is built from day one as though it will go to trial. When the other side knows we mean it, they pay more, earlier.
Attention
We deliberately limit our caseload so we can work closely with every client. We learn your story because we need to tell it.
Results
